Germany Targets Record 40,000 Citizenship Applications in 2025
Germany is setting an ambitious goal to process 40,000 citizenship applications in 2025. According to Wiebke Gramm, Head of the Naturalisation Department, the plan includes naturalizing approximately 3,000 individuals every month to meet this target.
To ensure this objective is met, the Department will onboard 40 additional employees to streamline the process and support foreign workers and immigrants applying for German citizenship.
