Dates of the US employment-based visa deadline

The filing dates from November have not altered. Depending on the applicant's nationality and visa type, the Final Action Date serves as a queue. The waiting period for application acceptance and subsequent US Green Card issuance is estimated by these dates.

Modifications to US family-sponsored visa requirements

The US family-sponsored visa priority categories are also highlighted in the December 2024 visa bulletin. These are the categories:

First Preference (F1): US citizens' unmarried children

Second Preference (F2): Permanent residents' spouses (F2A) and unmarried children (F2B).

Third Preference (F3): Children of US citizens who are married

Adult US citizens' siblings are the fourth preference (F4).

For the fiscal year 2024, the maximum number of family-sponsored category visas is 226,000. A maximum of 7% of the yearly family-sponsored and EB visa preference limitations is set for each nation.
